{"id":491339,"date":"2019-10-16T20:56:06","date_gmt":"2019-10-17T02:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=900201"},"modified":"2019-10-16T20:56:06","modified_gmt":"2019-10-17T02:56:06","slug":"see-earthgang-as-monsters-in-creepy-museum-in-new-up-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kqzr\/music-news\/see-earthgang-as-monsters-in-creepy-museum-in-new-up-video\/","title":{"rendered":"See EarthGang as Monsters in Creepy Museum in New \u2018Up\u2019 Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/EarthGangUpVideo.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/earthgang\/\" id=\"auto-tag_earthgang\" data-tag=\"earthgang\">EarthGang<\/a> are otherworldly beings in their new video for \u201cUp.\u201d The single appears on their debut studio album, <em>Mirrorland<\/em>, which the Atlanta rap duo released last month via Dreamville\/Interscope\/Spillage Village.<\/p>\n<p>In the Mac Grant and Chad Tennies-directed video, a group of young students are on a field trip at a museum, when one wanders off to explore an area that is sectioned off by a warning sign that reads \u201cExhibit Under Construction.\u201d As he makes his way through the area, he discovers a painting featuring EarthGang\u2019s Olu and WowGr8, which he touches and it comes to life.<\/p>\n<p>The kid is then transported into a new dimension. \u201cJust another day\/In these filthy sweet Atlanta streets,\u201d Olu and WowGr8 creepily sing to the kid as he escapes into the alternate museum\u2019s halls.<\/p>\n<p>As the young boy weaves his way though the alternate universe, more monsters appear as Olu warns, \u201cI make all your dreams and nightmares come true\/I\u2019ve got all that I want now I\u2019ve got you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EarthGang\u2019s \u201cUp\u201d video follows the release of <em>Mirrorland <\/em>single \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/young-thug-earthgang-proud-of-u-883150\/\">Proud of U<\/a>\u201d featuring Young Thug. They also recently appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/j-cole-revenge-of-the-dreamers-iii-down-bad-got-me-songs-j-i-d-ari-lennox-ty-dolla-sign-listen-847586\/\"><em>Revenge of the Dreamers III<\/em><\/a> compilation with their <em>Mirrorland<\/em> track \u201cSwivel\u201d and on \u201cDown Bad\u201d alongside J.
