And he accentuates it with the video\u2019s imagery, which includes him being buried alive, waving a shotgun, and, scariest of all, sporting some kind of leopard-print shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Music video director Tim Mattia (Halsey\u2019s \u201cColors,\u201d the 1975\u2019s \u201cSomebody Else,\u201d Manson\u2019s \u201cHey Cruel World \u2026 \u201c) shot Manson for the video in the Joshua Tree Desert in California.<\/p>\n<p>Manson cut the song with producer Tyler Bates, with whom he has collaborated on his last two records, 2015\u2019s <em>The Pale Emperor<\/em> and 2017\u2019s <em>Heaven Upside Down<\/em>. The singer is putting the song out as a standalone vinyl single (and digital release) to coincide with his October and November tour dates. The vinyl picture disc features one of his watercolor paintings.<\/p>\n<p>The song appeared on Odetta\u2019s 1957 album, <em>Odetta Sings Ballads and Blues<\/em>, as well as Johnny Cash\u2019s posthumous <em>American V: A Hundred Highways <\/em>(2006).
