Artist Michael Allred (<em>Sandman) <\/em>joins forces with writer Steve Horton (<em>Amala\u2019s Blade) <\/em>and colorist Laura Allred (<em>Madman) <\/em>to capture Bowie\u2019s life through illustrations just as vibrant and fantastical as the man himself.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Bowie: Stardust, Rayguns &amp;&nbsp;Moorage Daydreams&nbsp;<\/i>is a story of reinvention, following Bowie as he emerges from his ordinary life as David Jones and into the exploding rock scene of mid-Sixties London. Part biography and part imagination, the illustrations depict both true-to-history recording sessions and shows as well as imaginary outer space conversations between Bowie and Ziggy Stardust, his legendary alter-ego sent from Mars. The graphic novel follows Ziggy\u2019s origins and his inevitable end, leaving off before Bowie\u2019s next manifestation begins: The Thin White Duke.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe incarnations of David Bowie were, in themselves, science fictional,\u201d writes award-winning author <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/neil-gaiman\/\" id=\"auto-tag_neil-gaiman\" data-tag=\"neil-gaiman\">Neil Gaiman<\/a> in <em>Bowie\u2019s&nbsp;<\/em>forward. \u201cAll I was missing was a Bowie comic,\u201d he says of his years as a young fan, \u201cand, missing it, I would draw bad Bowie comics myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Such a comic won\u2019t be missing for long. <i>Bowie: Stardust, Rayguns &amp;&nbsp;Moonage Daydreams&nbsp;<\/i>is currently available for pre-order on various online outlets.
