Compiled on an EP titled <em>Rough Trade Session<\/em>, the set is available now via Sub Pop.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, the EP was originally released as a bonus CD included in Rough Trade\u2019s release of <em>Titanic Rising<\/em>. The songs include the Tinder-inspired single <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/weyes-blood-titanic-rising-everyday-819426\/\">\u201cEveryday,\u201d<\/a> the anthemic \u201cSomething to Believe,\u201d the ethereal \u201cWild Time\u201d and \u201cA Lot Has Changed,\u201d and an instrumental version of the opener \u201cA Lot\u2019s Gonna Change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The alternate takes are stripped down and intimate, with Weyes Blood\u2019s vintage, velvety vocals looming over piano chords.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/videoseries?list=PL8mqLDXQVsBYHyvh20SSm_HbpdehfPckJ&amp;hl=en_US\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Rough Trade Session<\/em> cover art is from the same photoshoot as <em>Titanic Rising<\/em>, featuring an underwater bedroom Weyes Blood designed herself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d say the bedroom is almost like a subconscious realm of nostalgia,\u201d she told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/weyes-blood-album-titanic-rising-843084\/\"><em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> earlier this year. \u201cAnd the water submerging it is like the emotional trauma of adulthood, climate change for real \u2014 actual rising sea levels. There\u2019s a lot of different, layered meanings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Weyes Blood <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/lana-del-rey-chris-isaak-wicked-game-897805\/\">joined Lana Del Rey<\/a> at the Hollywood Bowl for a performance of Joni Mitchell\u2019s \u201cFor Free\u201d with Zella Day.
