Celebrating 10 years of ‘The Kids We Used To Be’ too!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It took six years, but Your Demise<\/strong> are officially reuniting!<\/p>\n

They announced their reformation earlier today, in celebration of 10 years of their breakthrough album ‘The Kids We Used To Be’. <\/p>\n

Your Demise reformed a few years back for a one-off benefit show, to raise money for The Ghost Inside to aid in their recovery, following their life-changing and deadly bus crash in 2015. But since then, everything has been very quiet on the Your Demise front. Until NOW. <\/p>\n

Taking to Twitter, Your Demise shared a short statement explaining their reason for the reunion, sharing, “To be honest, we never could\u2019ve imagined the impact \u2018The Kids We Used To Be\u2019 would have on us as a band. It allowed us the opportunity to tour full time and travel the world\u2019 something every band dreams of. Our heroes became our mates, those that liked out music became genuine friends and as individuals we grew together. That being said, we got together knowing that the 10 year anniversary    was coming and frankly couldn\u2019t come up with a reason to not celebrate this album, so here we are. Fuck it, why not.”<\/em><\/p>\n

‘The Kids We Used To Be’ was released September 20, 2010. As yet, there’s been no mention of if this reunion is a one-off, or if Your Demise will be kicking around after the select dates. So basically, don’t miss out if you want to see them.<\/p>\n
