The raucous party song is titled \u201cRaising Hell,\u201d and features the vocals and New Orleans bounce-influenced beat of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/big-freedia\/\">Big Freedia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kesha layers her folksier roots over the track, creating a club-ready song that nonetheless harks back to her guitar-based production on 2017\u2019s <em>Rainbow<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRaising Hell\u201d also arrives with a Luke Gilford-directed video, portraying Kesha as a televangelist leading a party-loving congregation. The clip takes a dark turn about midway through, after which Kesha takes her life into her own hands, dyeing her hair black and hitting the road to freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Kesha <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BX52IxpigSA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">spoke to SiriusXM<\/a> Thursday morning about the song, saying, \u201cI created \u2018Raising Hell\u2019 in the basement of a strange home I\u2019d never been to before. I was with my friends, and we were talking about life, and how we\u2019re all very good-hearted people, but sometimes we just like to do bad stuff. It feels good, and it\u2019s fun to be bad sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pop star announced her upcoming album <em>High Road<\/em> earlier this week <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kesha-high-road-trailer-901577\/\">with a rowdy trailer<\/a>.
