The song soon builds to a roar, with Thunderpussy frontwoman Molly Sides bellowing during the chorus, \u201cShe\u2019s a lady, she\u2019s a powerhouse\/ She\u2019s a storm with wings and she\u2019ll take you out!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201c\u2018Powerhouse\u2019 is a song for my mother,\u201d Sides said. \u201cIt is an ode, an anthem to those who have been dealt a difficult hand in life but continue to persevere and push through. It\u2019s a reminder that there are no limits, no boundaries for the strength and resilience of the feminine spirit. A spirit, a superpower that lives within us all. Pussy is Power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><i>Milk It <\/i>follows Thunderpussy\u2019s 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/hear-pearl-jams-mike-mccready-guest-on-new-thunderpussy-song-112483\/\">self-titled debut<\/a>, which was notably produced by Pearl Jam guitarist and avowed fan, Mike McCready (McCready also played guitar on album cut \u201cVelvet Noose\u201d). Following the release of <i>Milk<\/i> <i>It<\/i>, Thunderpussy will continue to work on their second album.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Along with their musical endeavors, Thunderpussy\u2019s efforts to trademark their name <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderpussyusa.com\/news\/supreme-court-fuct-trademark-ruling-paves-way-thunderpussy-trademark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">got a boost<\/a> from the Supreme Court this summer when it ruled that a federal ban on trademarking immoral or scandalous words was unconstitutional and violated the First Amendment (the case specifically involved the clothing brand Fuct).
