In addition to her role as Bombalurina, Swift collaborated with lauded composer Andrew Lloyd Webber for a new song called \u201cBeautiful Ghosts.\u201d In a video about the song, Swift, Lloyd Webber and director-screenwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/tom-hooper\/\" id=\"auto-tag_tom-hooper\" data-tag=\"tom-hooper\">Tom Hooper<\/a> discuss the tune\u2019s genesis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was an ambition and an aspiration to have an original song in the movie,\u201d Swift says in the clip. \u201cJust very much this understanding of like, \u2018Let\u2019s write the best song we can.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lloyd Webber said he played the song\u2019s music for Swift. \u201cYou said, \u2018I\u2019ll do the lyric,\u2019 and you did it then and there, more or less,\u201d Webber added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I couldn\u2019t believe was the extraordinary beauty of these lyrics that Taylor had written,\u201d Hooper said. \u201cAnd it was as if someone had come into the film that I was in the middle of making and you know read the script and met the actors and seen the world and reflected back to me a profound understanding of what we\u2019re trying to do with the movie. So it was utterly thrilling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The song will first be sung by Victoria (portrayed by Francesca Hayward). Swift\u2019s own sung version will appear during the film\u2019s end credits.
