{"id":491628,"date":"2019-10-25T07:46:37","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T13:46:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=903734"},"modified":"2019-10-25T07:46:37","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T13:46:37","slug":"chance-the-rapper-says-kanye-west-tried-to-join-his-wedding-band","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kqzr\/music-news\/chance-the-rapper-says-kanye-west-tried-to-join-his-wedding-band\/","title":{"rendered":"Chance the Rapper Says Kanye West Tried to Join His Wedding Band"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Screen-Shot-2019-10-25-at-6.29.09-AM.png\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>Ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/chance-the-rapper-snl-host-musical-guest-898344\/\">his double duty on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/chance-the-rapper\/\" id=\"auto-tag_chance-the-rapper\" data-tag=\"chance-the-rapper\">Chance the Rapper<\/a> dropped by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-tonight-show\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-tonight-show\" data-tag=\"the-tonight-show\">The Tonight Show<\/a><\/em> to discuss his recent LP <em>The Big Day<\/em>, his actual \u201cbig day\u201d \u2014 his wedding \u2014 and Kanye West\u2019s behavior at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Jimmy Fallon first displayed a photo from Chance\u2019s reception, with everyone \u2014 including the groom and Dave Chappelle \u2014 wearing a tuxedo, except for Kanye West, who showed up in black button-down short-sleeve shirt. \u201cEveryone is wearing a nice tuxedo except for Kanye, he\u2019s always getting into trouble,\u201d Fallon said before Chance added, \u201cHe does his thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the lack of decorum, Chance said West was a great wedding guest. \u201cHe\u2019s awesome.
