Avril Lavigne<\/a> and Halsey<\/a> paid tribute to Lavigne\u2019s 2007 hit \u201cGirlfriend\u201d at Halsey\u2019s annual Halloween party in Los Angeles. The two singers hit the stage to perform the upbeat single for the crowd, with Halsey dressed in costume as Marilyn Manson and Lavigne as Madonna. During the party Halsey invited Lavigne up on stage, as captured by fans in the audience.<\/p>\n

This year Halsey\u2019s Halloween party centered on the theme of \u201cAlmost Famous is an experiential Halloween Party in Hollywood, celebrating the Rockstars of the 60\u2019s, 70\u2019s, 80\u2019s & 90\u2019s.\u201d Halsey took the theme seriously, dressing as Manson on his 1998 album Mechanical Animals<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Halsey recently released<\/a> a music video for \u201cGraveyard,\u201d which comes off her upcoming album Manic, <\/em>out January 17th. In Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>\u2018s June cover story, Halsey said that her new album is the first one she\u2019s ever written while manic, including a sampling of \u201chip-hop, rock, country, fucking everything \u2014 because it\u2019s so manic.\u201d She said, \u201cIt\u2019s literally just, like, whatever the fuck I felt like making; there was no reason I couldn\u2019t make it.\u201d<\/p>\n
