Dev Hynes, aka Blood Orange<\/a>, has released the self-directed video for \u201cDark & Handsome,\u201d featuring Toro y Moi<\/a>. The track comes from Hynes\u2019 latest mixtape, Angel\u2019s Pulse<\/em><\/a>, released this past July and described as an \u201cepilogue\u201d to his 2018 full-length album Negro Swan<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Like many Blood Orange clips, the video for \u201cDark & Handsome\u201d uses filters to achieve a washed-out vintage effect, resembling 16mm film or VHS tapes at various points. The visual is also shot on a square ratio and \u2014 in anticipation of how you\u2019re probably going to be watching the video \u2014 features a clip-within-a-clip projected on the musician\u2019s iPhone.<\/p>\n

Dev Hynes previously released the video for Angel\u2019s Pulse<\/em> track \u201cBenzo.\u201d<\/a> He recently wrapped a North American tour<\/a> with Tyler, the Creator<\/a>, and will be performing at Tyler\u2019s music festival Camp Flog Gnaw,<\/a> held at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on November 9th-10th, along with Solange, YG, Brockhampton and dozens of other artists.<\/p>\n
