A posthumous Lil Peep<\/a> EP has arrived, Goth Angel Sinner<\/i><\/a>, as well as a video for the track, \u201cWhen I Lie,\u201d filmed before the rapper\u2019s death in 2017.<\/p>\n

Peep and his frequent collaborator Rayn co-directed the video for \u201cWhen I Lie,\u201d which was shot in Hamburg, Germany, during the Come Over When You\u2019re Sober tour. The woozy, low-lit clip finds Peep on a bar stool, pulling on a cigarette and a beer as he performs the brooding track.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a spur of the moment video,\u201d Rayn said in statement. \u201cAs soon as someone from the venue led us down to the green room, Peep and I looked at each other and said we have to shoot a video here. It didn\u2019t take long to decide what track to shoot as he had been playing \u2018When I Lie\u2019 on repeat most of the journey there. We decided to shoot a one take video as we had shot \u20184 Gold Chains\u2019 as a one take in London and loved the way it came out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lil Peep originally announced<\/a> Goth Angel Sinner <\/i>in October 2017, a month before he died<\/a> from an overdose<\/a> of fentanyl and Xanax at the age of 21. The EP was produced by another regular collaborator, Fish Narc, and while the songs on the EP \u2014 \u201cWhen I Lie,\u201d \u201cBelgium\u201d and \u201cMoving On\u201d \u2014 had yet to be officially released, versions of all three had been floating around the Internet.<\/p>\n

Goth Angel Sinner<\/i> arrives several weeks after Lil Peep\u2019s mother, Liza Womack, filed a lawsuit<\/a> against the late rapper\u2019s team for negligence, breach of contract and wrongful death. The suit alleges that Peep\u2019s team ignored his physical and mental health and instead pushed the rapper \u201conto stage after stage in city after city, plying and propping him up\u201d with illegal drugs and unprescribed medication.<\/p>\n

A new documentary<\/a> about Peep, Everybody\u2019s Everything<\/i>, is set to hit theaters November 12th.<\/p>\n
