Electro-pop artist La Roux<\/a> unveiled her first new song in five years, \u201cInternational Woman of Leisure,\u201d along with a glitzy video that recalls Sixties spy flicks. The track will appear on La Roux\u2019s upcoming album<\/a>, Supervision<\/i>, out February 7th, 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cInternational Woman of Leisure\u201d is a punchy pop track that finds La Roux showing off her agile falsetto on the verses before slipping into a cool croon on the kiss-off chorus as she sings, \u201cI will not be living in this space again\/I will not come knocking at your door\/Because I\u2019m an international woman of leisure\/Oh, you want me to go on? It\u2019s my pleasure.\u201d Meanwhile, the clip for \u201cInternational Woman of Leisure\u201d boasts a delightfully retro look and finds La Roux playing the head of the \u201cI.W.O.L.\u201d agency.<\/p>\n

Supervision<\/i> will mark La Roux\u2019s third album, following her 2014 effort, Trouble in Paradise<\/em><\/a>. While the singer hasn\u2019t released any solo material in the years since, she provided guest vocals on New Order\u2019s 2015 album, Music Complete<\/i>, partnered with Whyte Horses for \u201cThe Best of It\u201d in 2018 and, earlier this year, appeared on \u201cGone, Gone\/Thank You\u201d from Tyler, the Creator\u2019s latest album, Igor<\/i>.<\/p>\n

La Roux also announced a North American tour in support of Supervision<\/i>, which is set to kick off March 2nd at the Phoenix in Toronto and wrap March 25th at the Fonda in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, November 1st, at 10 a.m. local time with complete information available on La Roux\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
