Created by Jared Stern and executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, the new animated show is based on the classic Dr. Seuss book.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWatch me back flip\/Watch me back flip,\u201d Cuomo sings on the punchy chorus. \u201cLet me work my magic\/Let me work my magic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Backflip\u2019 was something I\u2019d been messing around with sonically and melodically, so I thought it might be a decent fit,\u2019 Cuomo told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/columns\/rock\/8541553\/rivers-cuomo-backflip-netflix-green-eggs-ham\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><em>Billboard <\/em><\/a>about the song. \u201cBeing part of a Dr. Seuss show is an opportunity anyone would jump at \u2014 his books are part of the cultural fabric of everyone\u2019s childhood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Green Eggs and Ham<\/em> will feature the voices of Adam DeVine, Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton, Keegan-Michael Key and Tracy Morgan, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/weezer\/\" id=\"auto-tag_weezer\" data-tag=\"weezer\">Weezer<\/a> frontman also said he has been working on their upcoming album, <em>Van Weezer<\/em>, which includes single, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/weezer-end-of-the-game-kimmel-882841\/\">The End of the Game,<\/a>\u201d and is due May 2020. \u201cAll of my creative energy is being directed there at the moment,\u201d he added.
