Bon Jovi<\/a> have unveiled new song \u201cUnbroken,\u201d which the band wrote for Josh Aronson\u2019s documentary, To Be of Service<\/a><\/em>. The film follows war veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the positive impact of being paired with service dogs. The film will screen in several theaters around the U.S. in November.<\/p>\n

The song details experiences and emotions from a young soldier\u2019s perspective. \u201cGod of mercy\/God of light\/Save your children from this life,\u201d Jon Bon Jovi<\/a> sings. \u201cHear these words, this humble plea\/For I have seen the suffering\/And with this prayer I\u2019m hoping\/That we can be unbroken.\u201d<\/p>\n

The band announced via Twitter that all proceeds from downloads of the charity single will benefit the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation<\/a>, a non-profit organization that provides service dogs to veterans and first responders in need.<\/p>\n

Our new song, #Unbroken<\/a>, was written for the documentary \u201cTo Be of Service\u201d about the lives of veterans and their service dogs. All proceeds from your downloads will go to the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation. <\/p>\n
