The propulsive, disco-tinged pop song is a modern reimagining of Donna Summer\u2019s 1977 classic record and follows Smith\u2019s recent single <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/watch-sam-smith-how-do-you-sleep-video-860975\/\">\u201cHow Do You Sleep?\u201d<\/a> Smith\u2019s new version will be featured in Target\u2019s holiday campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a queer person \u2018I Feel Love\u2019 has followed me to every dance floor in every queer space from the minute I started clubbing,\u201d Smith <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/samsmith\/status\/1190132105650429958?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">wrote on Twitter<\/a>. \u201cThis song to me is an anthem of our community and it was an honour and most importantly so much fun to have a go at it.\u201d The singer added, \u201cHighest song I\u2019ve ever fucking sang. But a joy. I hope you all like it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith dropped \u201cHow Do You Sleep?\u201d in July along with a dance-fueled music video directed by Grant Singer. Earlier this year they released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/watch-sam-smith-normani-video-for-dancing-with-a-stranger-785868\/\">\u201cDancing With A Stranger,\u201d<\/a> which features Normani and is now platinum in 15 countries with over a billion streams worldwide.
