After installing a roof onto a new house, Brooks took a break under its shade, only to find himself face-to-face with Carter, who was also there to aid in the rebuilding effort.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sitting there, and he goes, \u2018You need something to do, Garth?&#8217;\u201d Brooks said, giving a pitch-perfect imitation of Carter\u2019s Southern accent. \u201cI said, \u2018No, sir,\u2019 jumped right back out there again. But you\u2019re not gonna outwork him or Miss Rosalynn [Carter].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brooks also showed off the costumes that he and his wife, fellow country legend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/trisha-yearwood\/\">Trisha Yearwood<\/a>, wore for Halloween: each other.
