Halsey<\/a> showcased her recent single \u201cGraveyard\u201d as part of the MTV<\/a> EMAs in Seville, Spain, offering a fantasy-themed performance of the track. The performance opened with the singer laying in an overgrown field, singing as she writhed in the dirt, before she danced onto a carousel horse in the center of the floral-covered stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cGraveyard\u201d<\/a> comes off Halsey\u2019s upcoming album Manic<\/em>, which is out January 17th via Capitol. She has released two videos for the track, including a time-lapse visualizer<\/a> of the singer painting a self portrait on a large canvas over several hours.<\/p>\n

In Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>\u2018s June cover story, Halsey said that her new album is the first one she\u2019s ever written while manic. The album is a sampling of \u201chip-hop, rock, country, fucking everything \u2014 because it\u2019s so manic.\u201d She added, \u201cIt\u2019s soooooo manic. It\u2019s literally just, like, whatever the fuck I felt like making; there was no reason I couldn\u2019t make it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGraveyard\u201d is Halsey\u2019s second solo release of the year, though she has collaborated with BTS (\u201cBoy With Luv<\/a>\u201c) and Yungblood (\u201c11 Minutes<\/a>\u201c). Last month, Halsey surprised fans on her 25th birthday when she released the video for her song \u201cClementine.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
