The proceeds will benefit Mitchell\u2019s mom, who has Alzheimer\u2019s disease. They also released an animated video for \u201cWaves of Fear,\u201d which originally appeared on Reed\u2019s 1982 classic <em>The Blue Mask.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The limited edition EP, <em>Turning Time Around<\/em>, produced by R.E.M.\u2019s Peter Buck, is <a href=\"https:\/\/ffm.to\/turningtimearound\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">available for pre-order right now.<\/a>&nbsp;It also features \u201cI Found a Reason\u201d from the the Velvet Underground\u2019s 1970 LP <em>Loaded<\/em> and \u201cTurning Time Around\u201d from Reed\u2019s 2000 album <em>Ecstasy.<\/em> \u201cLou Reed is probably my favorite musical artist,\u201d Mitchell said in a statement. \u201cI love Eyelids and Lou and my Mom and I hope you will too.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWaves of Fear\u201d video was created by Eyeids member Chris Slusarenko. \u201cWhen John suggested we record this I was freaking out,\u201d he says. \u201cNot only is it one of Lou\u2019s best later-period, venom-filled, nightmare-fueled songs, but it has one of the best Robert Quine solos of all time in it. It is hopeless in tone yet absurdly catchy. To crawl into this dark headspace with John leading the charge was actually pretty intense.
