The stark visual shows Wainwright in various stages of transformation into the character, culminating in an ominous shot of what appear to be the recent fires in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrouble in Paradise\u201d is the lead single for Wainwright\u2019s upcoming studio LP, his first since 2012\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Out of the Game<\/em>. (In 2015, he released the soundtrack to his original opera,&nbsp;<em>Prima Donna<\/em>, followed by 2016\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Take All My Loves<\/em>, a collection of nine Shakespeare sonnets set to music.) No title or release date has been announced for the album yet, but Wainwright worked on it with producer Mitchell Froom and will release the LP under his new label BMG.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Wainwright <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/sam-smith-rufus-wainwright-with-renee-zellweger-judy-soundtrack-877678\/\">dueted<\/a> with Ren\u00e9e Zellweger on a rendition of \u201cHave Yourself a Merry Little Christmas\u201d for the soundtrack to the Judy Garland biopic <em>Judy<\/em>.
