Victoria Mon\u00e9t has become Ariana Grande\u2019s right-hand woman ever since the pop star\u2019s 2013 debut Yours Truly<\/em>, most recently helping pen the Number One singles \u201cThank U, Next\u201d and \u201c7 Rings.\u201d With the smooth \u201cAss Like That,\u201d Mon\u00e9t proves herself to be just as formidable a star on her own.<\/p>\n

\u201cAss Like That\u201d moves softly as Mon\u00e9t tenderly delivers her fitness goals. \u201cWith them everyday squats, making shit pop\/Never had them ass shots, but she take shots,\u201d she sings on the chorus. The lyrics indicate the type of \u201c7 Rings\u201d trap-pop showiness, but Mon\u00e9t flips the energy, turning her gym story into a R&B slow jam that celebrates achieving one\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n

Mon\u00e9t made her debut in 2014 when she dropped the Nightmares & Lullabies: Act One<\/em> EP. She released Act Two<\/em> the following year and returned last year with Life After Love, Pt. I <\/em>and Pt. II<\/em>. Along with co-writing much of Grande\u2019s smash LP Thank U, Next<\/em><\/a>, she sang on the one-off single \u201cMonopoly\u201d<\/a> with Grande.<\/p>\n
