A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true. So we\u2019re going to stand up amid horses. We\u2019re going to stand up right here, amid the billy-clubs. We\u2019re going to stand up right here amid police dogs, if they have them. We\u2019re going to stand up amid tear gas!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Signees of the ad \u2014 which was printed in the <em>New York Times<\/em>,&nbsp;the&nbsp;<em>Chicago Tribune&nbsp;<\/em>and the <em>Philadelphia Enquirer<\/em>, among others \u2014 include Jay-Z, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Van Jones\u2019 Reform Alliance and the Women\u2019s Global Initiative.
