Michael Bennet on Thursday announced his bid for president in 2020, saying his two priorities are improving economic mobility and restoring trust in government<\/p>\n<p>His entry into the race extends the field for the Democratic nomination to more than 20 candidates and makes him the second Colorado politician,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/coloradosun.com\/2019\/03\/07\/john-hickenlooper-presidential-campaign-themes-kickoff\/\">joining former Gov. John Hickenlooper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bennet made his debut on CBS \u201cThis Morning\u201d and released a nearly 4-minute-long&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/hLy4E3i0y7E\">campaign video<\/a>&nbsp;in which he says bluntly \u201cyou may not know me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t set out to be a politician.
