When fans see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/carrie-underwood\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Carrie Underwood<\/a>\u2019s new Cry Pretty Tour 360, they will experience a soul-baring production full of empowering musical moments that at times leave the audience breathless. Over five acts, Underwood\u2019s powerhouse vocals are on full display showing that she is among the most consistent performers of our age.<\/p>\n<p>Her 360-stage is in the shape of her eye giving fans seated in the top levels of any arena the tour visits an up-close-and-personal look into the heart behind the music. Additionally, it\u2019s a seismic interpretation of her crying eyes on the <em>Cry Pretty<\/em> album art. The 2019 tour is heavy on selections from the album and her signature hits with at least five wardrobe changes.<\/p>\n<p>But whatever is said about Underwood\u2019s tour, it doesn\u2019t really matter because her biggest fans, Jacob, Isaiah and husband Mike Fisher, already dig it.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BxBt9vMpjoL\/\" data-instgrm-version=\"12\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Underwood has one of the most demanding tours this summer with performances scheduled every other day through June 23. Runaway June\u2019s Jennifer Wayne, Naomi Cooke and Hannah Mulholland kick off the night with elegance and grace performing live selections from the group\u2019s 2018 self-titled EP. Maddie &amp; Tae\u2019s Tay Dye and Maddie Marlow are fire personified onstage delivering new music from their <em>One Heart to Another<\/em> EP along with their signature hits \u201cFly\u201d and \u201cGirl in a Country Song.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Act I: \u201cSouthbound\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>Underwood doesn\u2019t mess around with her opening numbers. From note one through the finale, she commands the stage like she\u2019s born for it with an assist from a killer band.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Act II: \u201cBlown Away\u201d and \u201cWe Should Be Drinking Alone\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>The start of act II shows Underwood\u2019s affinity for good overcoming evil with back-to-back murder songs followed by \u201cBlown Away\u201d and the noirish \u201cWe Should Be Drinking Alone.\u201d The sax solo at the beginning of the latter gives off major <em>Carmen Sandiego<\/em> vibes, and Underwood belts with her microphone at least a foot away from her face on \u201cBlown Away.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Act II: \u201cEnd Up With You\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>Y\u2019all. Underwood can drum and sing at the same time. Underwood played the djembe and sang on an Earth drum arrangement of this <em>Cry Pretty<\/em> song.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Act III: Inspirational Medley<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>Starting on piano, Underwood\u2019s transitions were seamless as she sang through abbreviated versions of \u201cTemporary Home,\u201d \u201cSee You Again,\u201d \u201cI Know You Won\u2019t,\u201d \u201cJust a Dream\u201d with a touch of Aerosmith\u2019s \u201cDream On\u201d and \u201cJesus Take the Wheel,\u201d the latter of which had Underwood climbing a staircase ascending toward the heavens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Act IV: Empowering Collaborative Covers<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>Underwood welcomes Runaway June and Maddie &amp; Tae back onstage for a medley of iconic songs by Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, The Judds, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Faith Hill and Reba McEntire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Act IV: \u201cThe Champion\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>For every Cry Pretty show, Underwood hosts a contest for her musical guest on Ludacris\u2019 part on \u201cThe Champion.\u201d The winner for the Birmingham show was a mother named Jessica, whose daughter was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Underwood and Jessica had not practiced together until their big moment, and they both crushed it!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"author\">\n<div class=\"description\">Lauren Tingle is a Tennessean and storyteller who eats music for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
