The show is set to be a record-breaking night by hosting the <em>most. performances. ever.<\/em> in the event\u2019s 17-year history.<\/p>\n<p>The first performers to join the ceremony are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/carrie-underwood\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Carrie Underwood<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/dan-shay\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Dan + Shay<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/kane-brown\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Kane Brown<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/kelsea-ballerini\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Kelsea Ballerini<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/luke-bryan\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Luke Bryan<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/maren-morris\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Maren Morris<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/thomas-rhett\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Rhett<\/a>. More of the all-star lineup will be revealed in the days leading up to the most epic CMT Music Awards.
