Captions<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Fraser River Beer Co., with Fraser Valley memorabilia decorating the walls and callbacks for natives in everything from brew names to flavors, is working to establish itself as the new locals spot.<\/p>\n<p>The brewery soft opened on May 9 with a selection of four beers, including the train horn double India pale ale, the 8574 Colorado India pale ale, the Byers Peak brown ale and gnome shoe golden ale, named after an infamous Fraser rager.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe kind of designed (the gnome shoe) beer around more of the locals taste, so it\u2019s a lighter tasting beer,\u201d said owner Brian Nichols. \u201cWe are slowly converting the PBR and Michelob Ultra drinkers to drink craft beer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-color the new Fraser River Beer Co.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other amenities include in-house brewed kombucha, patio and lounge spaces, as well as access to bar bites from the food truck out back, 85-Fifty.<\/p>\n<p>So far, the most popular items are the gnome shoe golden ale and the kombucha, said co-owner Angie Nichols.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe get a lot of empty glasses back,\u201d she said with a laugh.<\/p>\n<p>Next up, Nichols hopes to brew an amber ale, a blonde ale, a porter and an American wheat to round out his taps before hosting a grand opening celebration on June 22 with music and giveaways.<\/p>\n<p>Also in June, the brewery will begin hosting Brewga, a 50 minute yoga session followed by a pint of beer for $20, every Sunday at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p> <a
