It\u2019s pretty much the most universally accepted piece of advice from mothers everywhere: \u201cYou just juggle.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what Carrie Underwood told us during her rehearsals for her performance at the CMT Music Awards<\/em>, when she opened up about prepping for the show while she\u2019s very much a busy working mother to her son Isaiah, 4, and her baby boy, Jacob.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom and my sister are here,\u201d she said, \u201cso they\u2019re gonna help take care of the little ones while mommy is working. We\u2019re just making it all happen the best way we know how.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the broadcast, Underwood will be performing her latest hit single \u201cSouthbound\u201d from the front steps of the Nashville Parthenon in Centennial Park. Her show there will be open to fans beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday (June 5).<\/p>\n

The CMT Music Awards<\/em> show is all about, as Underwood says, everybody coming to the country artists\u2019 neck of the woods. \u201cPartying with us, celebrating with us,\u201d she told us. \u201cAnd I feel like \u2019Southbound\u2019 is such a great song to say \u2019Welcome,\u2019 and it\u2019s a good kick off to everything this week.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also shared that to her, the CMTs are always fun, no matter what. \u201cEverybody just wants to come and have a good time. Usually when we\u2019re in the house,\u201d she said, \u201cthe audience has all the seats down in front. They\u2019re just kind of GA (general admission), and have a fun party vibe. You can feel that energy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood has been part of the CMT Music Awards<\/em> since 2006, when she was fresh off her American Idol<\/em> win, and she won for both female video of the year and breakthrough video of the year for her \u201cJesus, Take the Wheel\u201d debut.<\/p>\n

The \u201csouthbound\u201d song she\u2019s performing at the CMT Music Awards<\/em> is the same one that kicks off her show when she\u2019s out on tour. \u201cIt such a great summer jam, and we\u2019re having a blast out there. We\u2019re just doing what we love to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the official \u201cSouthbound\u201d music video \u2014 most likely a nominee for the 2020 CMT Music Awards<\/em> \u2014 will be arriving on Saturday.<\/p>\n
