Donny spent his life serving our community as a Lieutenant and Chaplin of East Grand Fire District since 1975. He was also a member of Grand County Search &amp; Rescue and an experienced certified Search &amp; Rescue Diver.<\/p>\n<p>He offered his helping hands unconditionally to anyone in need. His cheerful character and sincere kindness always made people smile. His love for playing music with local artists was a joy to Donny. His sense of humor and storytelling will be greatly missed by us all. He Joined his family, friends and dogs in heaven including his parents, his in-laws, and his sister-in-law Gerri Mattson.<\/p>\n<p>Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
