CMT is always proud of its LGBTQ fans, and in observance of Pride month, the network has chosen five LGBTQ artists you need to know who are doing their part to unify music fans of all sexualities.<\/p>\n<p>CMT will participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nashvillepride.org\/festival\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Nashville\u2019s Pride<\/a> celebrations Saturday (June 22). For the 2019 parade, CMT will deck out one of its production trucks and hand out awesome swag for everyone. No subject is off limits to him when it comes to writing original material. On the CMT Awards red carpet, Stansell said the last time he received some major fan love was when he sang his breakout single \u201cHometown\u201d live recently at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. When he turned the mic to the audience, the packed house sang along. Stansell will be part of Nashville\u2019s Pride festival Saturday (June 22) at Public Square Park (100 Metro Courthouse) in Downtown Nashville.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Cameron Hawthorn<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>Hawthorn bravely comes out at the end of his cinematic new video for his all-inclusive love song, \u201cDancing in the Living Room.\u201d The Dallas, Texas native told the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasobserver.com\/music\/country-singer-cameron-hawthorn-comes-out-as-gay-in-music-video-11655695\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Dallas Observer<\/a><\/em> that he never thought he\u2019d come out as gay with his roots in the Midwest and South where it was ingrained in him that he would end up with a woman. Hawthorn hopes individuals see their own love story play out in the video\u2019s plot. \u201cI remember always thinking how special it was to dance freely with my boyfriend in the living room of our apartment \u2014 being gay, it\u2019s not as easy to dance as a couple in public together as it is for a straight couple,\u201d Hawthorn told his hometown paper. \u201cI wanted to express how special that moment is for a couple when it\u2019s just the two of you in the privacy of your own four walls.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Harper Grae<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>With a performance style that\u2019s half-Dolly Parton and half-Dolores O\u2019Riordan, Harper Grae exhibits cool country wisdom that\u2019s beyond her years because of her grandparents\u2019 raising. Her latest EP <em>Buck Moon Medleys<\/em> gets its title from the full July moon, and Grae should be feeling pretty empowered in this season with her birthday on July 4. \u201cWhen people relate to the words I\u2019ve written or respond to the notes I sing, I feel fulfilled,\u201d she tells CMT.com. \u201cEverything this world has to offer, the good and the bad, can be used for a greater purpose, and that is to help others. That\u2019s what I want my music to do anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Angie Keilhauer<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>You know Keilhauer from her time competing on Blake Shelton\u2019s team on <em>The Voice<\/em> season 16. But she\u2019s also released two full albums independently and collaborated with pop\u2019s Jordan Fisher for the Disney collaboration, \u201cHappily Ever After.\u201d Fresh off a tour with Jake Owen, Keihauer is set to release new music later this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"heading-container\">\n<h3 class=\"heading\">Sonia Leigh<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"description-container\">\n<p>Leigh is best known in the mainstream country community as one of the prolific songwriters behind the soul-stirring lines in Zac Brown Band\u2019s \u201cSweet Annie\u201d and \u201cGoodbye in Her Eyes.\u201d She has built a devout following worldwide through years of constant touring and making original music that speaks to the soul. Her latest album is the 11-song <em>Sonia Leigh and Friends: Studio 3 Sessions<\/em> was recorded at London\u2019s historic Abbey Road Studios with guests Broken Witt Rebels\u2019 James Tranter, James Dudley and Luke Davis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"author\">\n<div class=\"description\">Lauren Tingle is a Tennessean and storyteller who eats music for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
