All team members were out of the field by 3:50 a.m. the next day.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:37 p.m. \u2014 Drivers speeding through a work zone prompted a request for additional patrols at the Colorado River bridge project in Grand Lake.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:59 p.m. \u2014 Authorities were notified of a deceased deer on US Highway 40 by Granby.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 9:07 p.m. \u2014 Another car hit a deer near the Idlewild Campground at Winter Park. No injuries were reported, but the damaged car was blocking the road.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10:52 p.m. \u2014 Firefighters and police were called to a Winter Park lodge after it lost power and people got stuck in the elevators. Four minutes later, another call came in from a nearby Granby gas station about a bear with two cubs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10:49 a.m. \u2014 A Tabernash resident reported their home had been hit by a stray bullet.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 12:20 a.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office received a call about people shooting off fireworks by an entryway at a Granby inn.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 6:10 a.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office responded to a call about a bear in a work truck \u201ccausing lots of damage\u201d on County Road 57 in Granby.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;1:10 p.m. \u2014 East Grand firefighters responded to a washer that was smoking at a Winter Park condo.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1:11 p.m. \u2014 Someone left a campfire unattended two miles up Cabin Creek near Granby.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;5:51 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office received a call about people who\u2019ve been living in a trailer for several weeks and taking electricity from a nearby home.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10:14 p.m. \u2014 In Hot Sulphur Springs, someone reported two dogs \u2014 a brown wiener dog that\u2019s missing an eye and a white and gray Shih Tzu \u2014 had gotten inside their fence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 12:02 p.m. \u2014 The Grand County Jail sought assistance from the sheriff\u2019s office with an unruly inmate.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2:34 p.m. \u2014 A welfare check was requested after someone saw two 11-year-old boys hitchhiking on US 40.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5:15 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported a man sitting on the side of the road had thrown a sock at their car.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5:19 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office red tagged a travel trailer that had been abandoned at County Road 1018 and County Road 1014 for approximately two months.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:43 p.m. \u2014 A driver called Fraser Winter Park police about a bicyclist on US Highway 40 who kicked his vehicle, and the caller reportedly caught the spat on camera.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 9:38 p.m. \u2014 Police responded to a call about people trespassing on a four-wheeler. However, police found they were actually on a neighboring property.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10:14 p.m. \u2014 Fraser Winter Park police helped an individual who was locked out of their home.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10:59 p.m. \u2014 The U.S. Forest Service busted an illegal campsite near Grand Lake.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 11:36 p.m. \u2014 A Granby resident called police worried that a bear might get into the home through broken windows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 13<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1:32 p.m. \u2014 Campers who were ticketed for multiple violations and supposed to be out by noon were verbally attacking the campground host.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5:44 p.m. \u2014 Police responded to a drunken passenger who was swearing at others on a train about to arrive in Fraser.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 6:47 p.m. \u2014 Police were called after two women allegedly left a Winter Park restaurant without paying their tab.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 9:03 p.m. \u2014 Grand County Search and Rescue assisted with another mission at Rocky Mountain National Park. All members were out of the field by 2:10 p.m. the next day.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 11:23 p.m. \u2014 A man chased a reckless driver during a possible road rage incident near Winter Park.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;11:39 p.m. \u2014 There was a two-vehicle wreck on US 40 near Kremmling with injuries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;1:33 a.m. \u2014 Police helped an intoxicated woman who had been partying with friends, didn\u2019t know where she was and couldn\u2019t find her way home from a Winter Park gas station.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2:09 a.m. \u2014 Some people jumped the fence at a Winter Park Lodge and started having a pool party.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;9:22 a.m. \u2014 Grand Lake firefighters secured a boat that was adrift in Grand Lake to a marina\u2019s dock.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 11:27 a.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office took a call about a neighbor leaving out trash that\u2019s been getting spread by animals.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 12:08 p.m. \u2014 A Winter Park lodge called police after a three-axle bus with smoking rear brakes parked in front of the lodge, where no one on the bus was staying, and then walked to a nearby restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;12:19 p.m. \u2014 Someone called police after picking up a large amount of litter at Cutthroat Bay, including pieces with identifying information.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;1:31 p.m. \u2014 A woman was bitten by a dog in a parked car in the parking lot at a Winter Park fast-food joint.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 7:51 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office was called to a cow in the middle of the road on US 40 outside Kremmling.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10:47 p.m. \u2014 Police responded to a report of a stolen bike valued at $6,000. A neighbor had apparently put the bike up in his home, though, believing that the owner had left it out for the night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 15<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 3:01 a.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office warned a group of people in Grand Lake after receiving a complaint about them yelling and breaking bottles.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 12:51 p.m. \u2014 A Grand Lake art gallery reported that a woman threw up inside the gallery and damaged some of the merchandise there.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 2:04 p.m. \u2014 A car hit a deer on US Highway 34 by Grand Lake.<\/p>\n<p><strong>July 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 7:33 a.m. \u2014 An 18-year-old fell from a horse and suffered a head injury.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 7:47 a.m. \u2014 A Grand Lake eatery reported finding a Rolex watch.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 6:48 p.m. \u2014 Fraser Winter Park police helped a woman who was getting spam text messages generated by an internet phone number block the messages.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;7:56 a.m. \u2014 Police took a call about a suspicious vehicle selling \u201cfish products\u201d in a parking area on US 34.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;1:07 p.m. \u2014 Kremmling police were called to assist a person who had missed the Greyhound bus and was stranded in town.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5:02 p.m. \u2014 A man with a metal detector and shovel was reportedly digging up stuff at a campground by Grand Lake.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5:57 p.m. \u2014 Kremmling police responded to a call about a 25-pound turtle that was walking around 4th Street and Eagle Avenue.
