The pair was apparently just hiking through.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:12 p.m. \u2014 Authorities responded to two-vehicle wreck with injuries near the Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:49 p.m. \u2014 Fraser Winter Park police took a report of a juvenile playing on a light post.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:51 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office responded to a call about people at the Williams Fork East Campground threating the boat inspector.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 8:59 p.m. \u2014 Fraser Winter Park police responded to an incident involving several underage individuals who had reportedly brought their own alcohol into a Winter Park brewery.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 10 p.m. \u2014 A caller phoned in a fireworks complaint in the Fraser area and said the parties have been shooting off fireworks for the last three nights.<\/p>\n<p>July 19<\/p>\n<p>12:16 p.m. \u2014 Two hound dogs, one without a collar and the other with a shock collar, were running around on US 40.<\/p>\n<p>2:01 p.m. \u2014 Police performed a welfare check on an older gentleman who was walking down County Road 8 and looked like he may be impaired.<\/p>\n<p>3:39 p.m. \u2014 Police responded to a report of a small, barking dog inside a car that had been there for approximately three hours. The call log notes the car windows were open.<\/p>\n<p>3:43 p.m. \u2014 A landlord had lost the phone number for a renter and called police to help re-establish contact.<\/p>\n<p>7:19 p.m. \u2014 A caller witnessed a driver hit a deer on US Highway 40 by Tabernash and continue on without stopping.<\/p>\n<p>7:26 p.m. \u2014 Police were called about a possible trespassing violation with two men panhandling for gas money outside the entrance of a Granby business.<\/p>\n<p>7:53 p.m. \u2014 A trash bin was fully engulfed in flames behind the Fraser Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>9:08 p.m. \u2014 A man reportedly refused to leave a Winter Park brewery. The log suggests he left for a brief period of time before returning. Shortly thereafter, he was released to a sober adult.<\/p>\n<p>9:19 p.m. \u2014 A driver of a Ford Mustang hit a deer on US Highway 34 outside Granby and the deer needed to be dispatched.<\/p>\n<p>11:02 p.m. \u2014 Someone lodged a noise complaint about a loud party in Granby.<\/p>\n<p>11:33 p.m. \u2014 Several people were arguing in a day use area near Hot Sulphur Springs and the caller said it sounded like someone was getting assaulted.<\/p>\n<p>July 20<\/p>\n<p>12:14 a.m. \u2014 Police were called about a woman who had passed out at a Winter Park condo after drinking and smoking marijuana but was now awake and vomiting.<\/p>\n<p>11:58 a.m. \u2014 A man riding a four-wheeler was hurt on Stillwater pass and his arm was reportedly pinned under the ATV.<\/p>\n<p>12:15 p.m. \u2014 A man in his 50s was riding a bike and suffered a head injury in Fraser.<\/p>\n<p>12:42 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported an unattended campfire near Fraser.<\/p>\n<p>1:10 p.m. \u2014 A trailer carrying a pontoon boat had two flat tires and was creating a hazard.<\/p>\n<p>1:19 p.m. \u2014 Cash was reported stolen the night before from a Grand Lake gallery.<\/p>\n<p>2:32 p.m. \u2014 Police fielded a call about an intoxicated man who was urinating in the street in Fraser.<\/p>\n<p>3:44 p.m. \u2014 A Kremmling homeowner reported a burglary that happened some time while the homeowner was out of town.<\/p>\n<p>5:27 p.m. \u2014 There was a hit-and-run involving a black pickup truck about 3.5 miles up County Road 4 in Grand County.<\/p>\n<p>11:18 p.m. \u2014 A caller told police a woman was walking barefoot on the side of the road on US Highway 34 in Grand Lake.<\/p>\n<p>11:40 p.m. \u2014 A man and woman thought to be in their 30s were caught trying to steal bottles of wine from behind the bar at a Winter Park establishment.<\/p>\n<p>11:54 p.m. \u2014 A noise complaint was phoned in against a Fraser home for the second night in a row with the caller reporting a loud party in which people were singing karaoke.<\/p>\n<p>July 21<\/p>\n<p>12:43 a.m. \u2014 Police were called to an incident in which two men were fighting at a Winter Park bar.<\/p>\n<p>11:10 a.m. \u2014 A caller reported illegal dumping in Hot Sulphur Springs.<\/p>\n<p>1:43 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office found a Rottweiler mix that was \u201cfrightened by the thunder but even tempered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>8:52 p.m. \u2014 A group with three adults and three children was overdue after they were supposed to be back around 5-6 p.m. About 30 minutes after the call, the group was found and on their way home.<\/p>\n<p>9:41 p.m. \u2014 There was a complaint of shots fired in the Hot Sulphur Springs area, though it was found to be a fireworks violation.<\/p>\n<p>10:41 a.m. \u2014 There was a dispute over the checkout time at a Kremmling hotel. Police advised a woman this was a civil problem and she could file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.<\/p>\n<p>2:41 a.m. \u2014 Police fielded a noise complaint in which a number of people were reportedly yelling racial slurs and vulgarities during a loud party on the porch of a Fraser home. A second caller companied 15 minutes later, and police gave the individuals a verbal warning.<\/p>\n<p>3:01 a.m. \u2014 Officers responded to another noise complaint about loud music and yelling, this time in Winter Park, and issued another verbal warning.<\/p>\n<p>11:23 a.m. \u2014 Someone called police about two dogs inside a parked car in Granby. The log says the pups were not in distress and had wagging tails even though the car windows were barely cracked.<\/p>\n<p>3:12 p.m. \u2014 Granby police responded a possible hit-and-run.<\/p>\n<p>3:19 p.m. \u2014 Officers responded to a report of a vehicle break-in at a Winter Park parking garage.<\/p>\n<p>4:39 p.m. \u2014 There was a report of a disturbed passenger at a Grand County bus stop who was attacking another passenger.<\/p>\n<p>July 22<\/p>\n<p>6:51 a.m. \u2014 Granby police were called about a person who was sleeping at the Parshall Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>7:37 a.m. \u2014 A hit-and-run was called into the Fraser Winter Park Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>7:41 a.m. \u2014 A semi backed into a power line pole in Granby.<\/p>\n<p>3:19 p.m. \u2014 A sailboat was found on the rock in Grand Lake. At about the same time, there was also a report of wind surfers struggling but did not seem to be signaling for help.<\/p>\n<p>10:56 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported a possible residential fire in Winter Park but it turned out to be a grease fire caused by someone cooking on a deck.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Sky-Hi News police blotter offers a glimpse of police activity taken from the Grand County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Kremmling Police, Granby Police and Fraser-Winter Park Police logs.
