The list of leftover hunting licenses is available on <a href=\"https:\/\/state.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5144ed31c5f2ba642e0393361&amp;id=944be1e2dc&amp;e=ce5d41045f\">CPW\u2019s website<\/a>, and the agency is offering these tips for purchasing them online and at CPW offices:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Online Purchase Prep<\/strong><br \/>Hunters are encouraged to make sure their account is valid at CPWShop.com, and they can be prepared for Leftover Day by completing the following checklist before purchases begin.<\/p>\n<p>1. Validate or create your customer account \u2014 Anyone who experiences issues logging in to his or her account can call CPW at 303-297-1192 during business hours or call Aspira at 800-244-5613 anytime of day or night.<\/p>\n<p>2. Confirm account details \u2014 People should make sure their contact info is correct, including phone numbers, email and physical and mailing addresses. They will need to enter credit card information at check out or use a CPW gift certificate. Credit cards on file will not be charged automatically.<\/p>\n<p>3. Advice for making online purchase \u2014 Once license sales begin, the Leftover List will be automatically updated every 5 minutes. All reissued licenses that were processed prior to the creation of the list will be available on Leftover Day. Any reissued licenses processed after the list\u2019s creation will be available beginning Aug. 13. People should remember the purchase of a license is not official until they click \u201cSubmit Payment\u201d and receive confirmation that the order is complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In-person Purchase Prep<\/strong><br \/>Those who plan to purchase leftover licenses through CPW sales <a href=\"https:\/\/state.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5144ed31c5f2ba642e0393361&amp;id=4e5b64d672&amp;e=ce5d41045f\">agents<\/a> or at <a href=\"https:\/\/state.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5144ed31c5f2ba642e0393361&amp;id=689ea5d1e3&amp;e=ce5d41045f\">CPW offices<\/a> and parks should be well-prepared before they arrive. This will help the transaction run as efficiently as possible.<\/p>\n<p>If you are planning on purchasing a license, be sure to have the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your driver\u2019s license, state-issued identification card or a valid passport if not a U.S. citizen<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/state.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5144ed31c5f2ba642e0393361&amp;id=93826e9e18&amp;e=ce5d41045f\">Proof of hunter education<\/a>: You will need your <a href=\"https:\/\/state.us10.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5144ed31c5f2ba642e0393361&amp;id=acbbd08769&amp;e=ce5d41045f\">hunter education card<\/a> or a Colorado hunting license with verified hunter education&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Your social security number for anyone 12 years of age and older, if it\u2019s not already on file<\/li>\n<li>Your customer identification number (CID), if you have previously purchased a license in Colorado<\/li>\n<li>Proof of residency if you are planning to purchase a resident license<\/li>\n<li>A prioritized list of hunt codes for licenses you are interested in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If purchasing a license for someone else, which can only be done in person, the buyer must bring the following for the hunter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A clear copy of both sides of the hunter\u2019s driver\u2019s license or state-issued identification card<\/li>\n<li>A clear copy of both sides of the hunter\u2019s hunter education card or a previous Colorado hunting license with verified hunter education<\/li>\n<li>The social security number for any hunters 12 years of age and older, if it\u2019s not already on file<\/li>\n<li>The hunter\u2019s customer identification number (CID), if they have previously purchased a license in Colorado<\/li>\n<li>A prioritized list of hunt codes they are interested in<\/li>\n<li>For more info, call the office or CPW sales agent you plan to visit ahead of time to find out their procedures for Leftover Day, as procedures can vary from location to location.<\/li>\n<li>If applying by phone please note that there will be longer than usual wait times for both Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Aspira.
