Right now, the store focuses mostly on trendy women\u2019s clothing, but Sparks wants to expand her selection for men and children too.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Even though the clothes Sparks features in her store are high quality, she aims to keep the price point low.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want everybody to come in here and instead of sitting on the fence, deciding whether to buy it, they go, \u2018This is so inexpensive that I have to have it,\u2019\u201d she said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finding a home for her store in the 115-year-old building that used to house Morgan Mercantile seemed particularly serendipitous to Sparks, and it adds to the atmosphere she aims to provide.<\/p>\n<div class=\"p402_hide\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<div class=\"caption-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2019\/08\/DSC_0067-1024x681.jpg\" alt class=\"wp-image-59176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2019\/08\/DSC_0067-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2019\/08\/DSC_0067-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2019\/08\/DSC_0067-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"><figcaption><strong>Jackpot Resale is housed in a 115-year-old building that was formerly known as Morgan Mercantile.<\/strong><br \/><em>McKenna Harford \/ <a href=\"mailto:mharford@skyhinews.com\">mharford@skyhinews.com<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cEverybody that comes in has been so excited about the shopping, but also the experience of being able to come into this old building,\u201d she said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It also pairs well with her passion for sustainability. A few of the original features of the building, including the tin ceiling and some glass window panes, remind visitors that everything old is new again at Jackpot.<\/p>\n<p>As a thrifter, Sparks likes how resale doesn\u2019t contribute to fashion waste and promotes a different kind of consumerism. While clothing options exist in the county, they are sparse.
