The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Between 2015 and 2017, Love traveled to nearly two dozen national parks, writing songs about each one\u2019s landscapes, history and people, according to Kyle Patterson, a spokesperson for Rocky.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Her song on Rocky highlights the \u201cwhispering pines\u201d on Trail Ridge Road and the bugling elk that fill its meadows.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning in 2017, Love partnered with the National Parks Service to become its first-ever Trails and Rails Troubadour, meaning she performs at the national parks and on Amtrak trains, such as the Coast Starlight and Sunset Limited.<\/p>\n<p>Love\u2019s album, titled \u201cNational Parks Centennial Songs,\u201d is dedicated to the park founders, future generations, people who don\u2019t have easy access to nature and the planet Earth.
