When Jason Aldean<\/a> first started releasing albums, he had this dream that if he ever got to the point that he was making his 9th album, he\u2019d call it 9<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But how do you even start naming albums that are 14 years down the road?<\/p>\n

\u201cEarly on I always thought if we ever got to make nine albums, I\u2019m going to call it 9<\/em>. It was my baseball number growing up, and it\u2019s just kind of always been my lucky number,\u201d Aldean said in a press release.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember cutting the first album and thinking \u2019that\u2019s forever away,’\u201d he added, \u201cand now here we are. I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s really special we made it this far \u2014 so, it\u2019s more for me than anybody else \u2014 but, it means a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

The album will be released Nov. 22, and the first single is \u201cWe Back.\u201d He explains how deep the song\u2019s meaning is to him and the trajectory of his career. \u201cWhen I came into country music and made my mark, it was with a banger. But we haven\u2019t put out a lot of that stuff over the last couple years.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we got this song,\u201d he said, \u201cand to me it just says what it says: \u2018Thought we were gone, but you\u2019re wrong \u2014 now it\u2019s on.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
