{"id":18460,"date":"2019-09-13T14:53:23","date_gmt":"2019-09-13T20:53:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/?p=60153"},"modified":"2019-09-13T14:53:23","modified_gmt":"2019-09-13T20:53:23","slug":"kids-fallfest-this-saturday-in-winter-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/krky\/local-news\/kids-fallfest-this-saturday-in-winter-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Kids FallFest this Saturday in Winter Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Winter Park and Fraser Chamber and the Grand Kids&nbsp;Learning Center are hosting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playwinterpark.com\/winter-park-fallfest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Winter Park FallFest (opens in a new tab)\">Winter Park FallFest<\/a>, a family-friendly event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Rendezvous Event Center in Winter Park.<\/p>\n<p>In a news release, organizers touted how the festival will feature a silent auction, bake sale, face painting, bobbing for donuts, inflatables, an East Grand fire truck, a trackless train, a birds of prey exhibit and more.<\/p>\n<p>Also, there will be a cornhole tournament starting at 2:30 p.m. and fall spirits and food available for sale.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, the Grand County Blues Society will be conducting Blues in the Schools Rhythm and Percussion Bongo workshops while Scott Hackler and his band&nbsp;<em>Shack and Friends<\/em>&nbsp;play the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to partner with the Grand Kids Learning Center on this annual event,\u201d said Catherine Ross, the chamber\u2019s executive director, in the release. \u201cFallFest brings&nbsp;our community together in a way \u2014 with kids and games and fun and music \u2014 that strengthens the fabric of our community. And, we love helping facilitate that experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free, but tickets are available for purchase to participate in a variety of the activities.
