BodyText\">One by one, girls representing four Girl Scout troops crossed a bridge at Kaibab Park on Sunday in Granby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The short trip, only a couple dozen steps perhaps, was a milestone in the girls\u2019 scouting careers and a signal of their growth, not just within the organization, but within the community as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cScary,\u201d Jael Montandon said about how it feels to be an 11-year-old Girl Scouts Cadette now. \u201cIt just tells me I\u2019m getting older.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The bridging ceremony, as the scouts call it, honored the girls\u2019 achievements throughout the year and celebrated their ascension the next level. They\u2019re all Girl Scouts, but the different levels include Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes, just to name a few in their order of progression.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Sunday\u2019s ceremony featured girls from troops 54036, 55318, 55319 and 55337.
