12:38 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office responded to a chimney fire in Grand Lake.<\/p>\n
4:07 p.m. \u2014 One man was seriously hurt during a family argument at the Stillwater Campground. As the family members argued, the man apparently tried jumping on the back of a boat on the trailer as it puled up the ramp. His arm got caught on the boat cleat and was torn open.<\/p>\n
Sept. 11<\/p>\n
2:55 p.m. \u2014 A FedEx truck overturned at mile marker 160 on US 40 outside Kremmling.<\/p>\n
8:17 p.m. \u2014 A tanker truck rolled at mile marker 237 on US 40 near Winter Park.<\/p>\n
Sept. 12<\/p>\n
8:33 a.m. \u2014 Some digging at a sub station on County Road 5 by Tabernash unearthed bones wrapped in a blanket. The bones turned out to be those of a dog, likely buried there by its owner.<\/p>\n
5:10 p.m. \u2014 A caller reported a man without a shirt was sitting on US Highway 40 and cars were swerving to avoid him.<\/p>\n
Sept. 13<\/p>\n
3:24 p.m. \u2014 A freezer caught fire at a Kremmling home.<\/p>\n
8:06 p.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office responded to a call about an unattended bonfire at a short-term rental in Fraser, which has reportedly been an ongoing problem at this house. However, responding officers found the fire was not unattended and of a legal size.<\/p>\n
Sept. 14<\/p>\n
3:03 a.m. \u2014 A fire broke out on the deck of a Granby home.<\/p>\n
9:39 p.m. \u2014 A woman got stuck in a pit toilet at the Arapaho Bay Campground. The woman was apparently lowered in headfirst by her husband to retrieve his cellphone and got stuck when he couldn\u2019t get her out.<\/p>\n
These are just a small number of the calls fielded by Grand County\u2019s dispatchers, first-responders and law enforcement agencies. The police blotter was put together by the Sky-Hi News in conjunction with the Grand County Sheriff\u2019s Office. It does not include any reports about alleged sexual assaults, child abuse, DUIs or domestic violence.<\/p>\n
