The checkered flag was waved on the season finale of Racing Wives<\/a><\/em> \u2014 for Amber, that meant a serious speed bump in her career; for Ashley, Sam, Whitney and Mariel, that meant a slick spot on friendship.     Amber Has a Rough Start To Her First Big Race<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    Amber improves tremendously on her trial runs \u2014 and clocks a time that\u2019s faster than her top fellow competitors \u2014 but things quickly come crashing down once it comes time for the qualifiers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    \n

    What Goes Up\u2026<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    Though Amber makes it into the Hickory race by the skin of her teeth, an issue with her front right tire sends her car careening toward a wall. And just like that, her first race as a sponsored driver is over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    And It Hurts<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

    Samantha and Kyle Busch comfort Amber \u2014 and reaffirm that her blown tire is not her fault \u2014 but Amber can\u2019t help but break down, and consider that her one shot at the big dance is over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    Meanwhile, Mariel Finally Confronts Ashley and Sam<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

    Mariel doesn\u2019t mince her words to Ashley and Sam, and says she blew off Kurt\u2019s birthday because she didn\u2019t think her invite was sincere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    But Ashley\u2019s Not Having It<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    Ashley and Sam are furious that Mariel tries to paint them as exclusive when they\u2019ve invited her to countless events.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    Finally, Whitney Puts Up The Dukes<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    Whitney, who\u2019s so far toed the line between her BFF Mariel and the Busch wives, finally publicly defends Mariel, and says Sam and Ashley have been cold in spite of their supposed openness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    And Then, the Ladies Go Around in Circles About Five Times<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

    Quickly, it becomes clear: reconciliation is not on the table.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    Though Mariel loves brand modeling, she says the next stage of her career will take a noticeably sharp turn \u2014 she and Whit are starting a BFF business.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    Sadly, Sam\u2019s Next Steps Are Excruciating<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

    Sam, who\u2019s been trying to have a baby girl for what\u2019s felt like an eternity, reveals that she had a miscarriage, and that she was thrust into an unshakable depression.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

    Finally, With the Support of Family, She Celebrates Life<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    After a beautiful ceremony honoring their baby girl, Kyle and Sam agree that they can manage their next step as long as they maintain the love of their family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
