It was blatantly partisan, nationalism wrapped in God, country, and the flag.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The faux patriotism disguised as love for the Constitution was disturbing. The speaker, a Grade B movie actor with no special knowledge of the Constitution, spewed lies and innuendo about the so-called \u201csocialists\u201d (a dog whistle for Democrats) who are trying to destroy our country. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it was a travesty of deception in the name of our Constitution. It was a dangerous perversion of our democratic values and beliefs under the guise of our country\u2019s most sacred document, our Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>Shame on the organizers, the chamber of commerce and all the Grand Lake businesses that supported this farce. I might add this county and state are changing.
