It was literally just two days ago when Irish singer\/songwriter Hozier<\/a> posted a video acoustic cover of Maren Morris<\/a>\u2019\u201dThe Bones.\u201d She retweeted it, obviously, calling it stunning.<\/p>\n

And already, the two stars have collaborated for a brand new redo of the ballad and released it out into the world.<\/p>\n

Morris wrote the song with Jimmy Robbins and Laura Veltz, and when I first heard it, it became an immediate favorite. The kind of song you just can\u2019t get enough of. And now with Hozier in the mix, it\u2019s next-level good.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first heard \u2018Like Real People Do\u2019 I think I could actually hear my heart breaking and then immediately felt songwriter envy that I didn\u2019t write it first,\u201d Morris said of how she feels about her new duet partner. \u201cHozier\u2019s soul and vulnerability is so arresting and fit so well with the foundational theme of my song \u2018The Bones.\u2019 I feel so grateful to have him on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

It sounds like the feeling is mutual for the alt-rocker. \u201cSomething of love\u2019s enduring nature really comes through on \u2019The Bones,\u2019 it\u2019s a gorgeous song. I was delighted to be asked to sing with the Maren Morris on this track,\u201d Hozier said, adding,\u201dshe is such a wonderful artist.\u201d<\/p>\n
