12:10 p.m. \u2014 A woman reported someone impersonating a FedEx employee was trying to gain access to her Kremmling home. It turned out the person was actually an investigator trying to serve a subpoena. The caller reportedly wanted to file harassment and fraud charges against the investigator but was told no crime had occurred.<\/p>\n

5:25 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported possible poachers outside Fraser, but the individuals turned out to be surveyors.<\/p>\n
Sept. 20<\/p>\n
1:28 p.m. \u2014 Dispatchers took a call about a concrete mixing truck blocking a road in Granby.<\/p>\n
9:40 p.m. \u2014 A man reported being refused service at a Grand Lake bar because, he said, he had previously called in a DUI driver at the bar. The man was subsequently told he had a warrant for his arrest.<\/p>\n
Sept. 22<\/p>\n
5:07 p.m. \u2014 After several 911 hang-ups, dispatch tried calling the number back with no answer. On a fourth call from the number, there was no audio. On the fifth call, it was another hang-up. After finally getting in touch with the caller, dispatchers learned she was heavily intoxicated, felt ill and wanted an ambulance, but then apparently decided against it. The caller was warned about the ramifications of abusing 911.<\/p>\n
7:31 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported a reckless boat driver on Shadow Mountain Reservoir had hit the bridge between Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake.<\/p>\n
7:58 p.m. \u2014 A man told authorities he had arranged to sell a junk car to a buyer from Denver. The man said the vehicle was towed off his property, but the buyer failed to leave any money and was no longer answering the phone.<\/p>\n

9:01 p.m. \u2014 During a dispute between neighbors, one apparently called 911 and told dispatchers they didn\u2019t need to get other people involved with what he told authorities and escalate things.<\/p>\n

9:16 p.m. \u2014 Authorities responding to a call about a possible house fire in Granby found no fire and no smoke.<\/p>\n
Noon \u2014 A man told dispatchers he might have discovered a human gravesite about three-fourths of a mile off Forest Service Road 123 after finding a large cross with a plaque with names on it. The report was relayed to the US Forest Service.<\/p>\n
3:19 p.m. \u2014 A woman was seriously hurt in a horseback riding accident and flown to Denver.<\/p>\n
Sept. 26<\/p>\n
12:26 p.m. \u2014 A caller reported a small wildfire outside Tabernash had been extinguished but told authorities they might check it out for security.<\/p>\n
10 p.m. \u2014 Three men got into a fight at a Winter Park bar.<\/p>\n
These are just a small number of the calls fielded by Grand County\u2019s dispatchers, first-responders and law enforcement agencies. The police blotter was put together by the Sky-Hi News in conjunction with the Grand County Sheriff\u2019s Office. It does not include any reports about alleged sexual assaults, child abuse, DUIs or domestic violence.<\/em><\/p>\n
