Instead, he will be wowing a packed house at Nashville\u2019s Bridgestone Arena. Whether Lauren will be cheering him on up close or from a distance the couple has yet to disclose.<\/p>\n<p>Not to worry, though. His love for Lauren is more than enough to keep the fans adulation in perspective. It began, he told CMT, with his decision to write his wife a love song. In 2015, he convinced some songwriters he\u2019d been working with in Los Angeles to join him on tour to see what they could come up with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first morning we woke up and sat down, and I said, \u2019Man, I\u2019ve never written a legit love song about my wife. Let\u2019s try to do that this morning.\u2019 I don\u2019t remember how the title \u2019Die a Happy Man\u2019 came out, but it was the first real song that we\u2019d ever actually written together. And I remember thinking, \u2019Dang! This song is pretty good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed it was. But when we started talking about ideas for the video, I looked at her and I was like, \u2019Babe, I can\u2019t \u2014 I\u2019m not gonna \u2014 do this music video with somebody else. I\u2019m not gonna do this with an actress. I wrote the song about you. I\u2019ll bring one camera. Y\u2019all go surf and hike and swim and do whatever you wanna do, and I\u2019ll just be in the background filming. We\u2019ll make a storyline out of it. We really just wanna show your love story.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt turned out to be one of my favorite pieces that we\u2019ve ever done. It\u2019s a piece that I feel like I\u2019m still gonna enjoy watching when I\u2019m 85 years old.
