Early voting indicates that Grand County will not see an increase in sales tax to fund a new jail and that county residents decided against both state measures on the ballot.<\/p>\n

According to the Grand County Clerk and Recorder, just about 4,600 ballots have been counted out of a total of over 12,000 registered voters. So far, 0 out of 5 precincts in the county have reported results.<\/p>\n

For Grand County\u2019s big sales tax question to raise the rate by .2% to partially fund a new $28 million public safety facility<\/a>, the majority of early votes, 63%, are against it.<\/p>\n

Both East Grand and Grand Lake Fire Districts\u2019 revenue measures<\/a> have early support. Around 66% of voters approved the stabilization measure for East Grand and around 58% of voters have approved the Grand Lake mill levy raise.<\/p>\n

When it comes to state ballot questions, Grand County\u2019s early voters are against both Prop CC and DD.<\/p>\n
