Four hours later, a man reported the same Jeep stolen from a Granby parking lot. The man told authorities he didn\u2019t leave his keys inside the Jeep, but there might have been a spare in it.<\/p>\n<p>12:20 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported \u201cthree kids,\u201d possibly intoxicated, causing a disturbance outside a Fraser business with one of them going into a nearby liquor store. Minutes later, another caller told dispatchers the same group, now described as people ages 19-23, had bought \u201ca large bottle of vodka\u201d and were now falling down in the street. When authorities arrived, \u201cthe instigator\u201d ran off. The other two were cooperative and released into the custody of a sober person.<\/p>\n<p>7:44 p.m. \u2014 In a suspicious incident, a caller reported that someone was possibly just inside the caller\u2019s vehicle but seemed to have exited it without committing any apparent crimes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, Nov. 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12:09 p.m. \u2014 Described as a suspicious vehicle incident, a caller told police a pickup truck had been parked at an intersection in rural Grand County all morning with people throwing trash out. Soon after, authorities made contact and the people inside the pickup were picking up the trash.<\/p>\n<p>8:25 p.m. \u2014 A hunter\u2019s wife reported her husband overdue from a hunting trip, setting off a nightlong effort to track the hunter that involved authorities in Summit, Routt and Grand counties. After numerous cellphone pings, the hunter was found in good condition the next morning in Summit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Nov. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12:12 a.m. \u2014 Someone called about a person walking around an abandoned house in Granby with a flashlight about a half-mile away from the caller\u2019s home. The sheriff\u2019s office didn\u2019t find any burglars at the abandoned property, only a malfunctioning light causing a strobe effect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Nov. 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5:51p.m. \u2014 Dispatchers took a call about a visible structure fire near Tabernash that turned out to be a controlled burn. The people doing the burning were warned to let the fire burn down, not to burn trash and that they would be cited if the fire department was called out there again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Nov. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6:07 p.m. \u2014 A report of illegal dumping on Jacques Road in Granby came with an air of suspicion. Speaking to nearby campers, authorities were told an older man in an older green minivan had stopped in the area with a dog. The campers watched the van leave and saw two black plastic trash bags, a sleeping bag and a plastic bin left where the van had been parked. Authorities couldn\u2019t find any forms of ID in the bags, but they did confirm they contained female clothing, makeup and feminine hygiene products before taking pictures of the various items.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Nov. 9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3:20 p.m. \u2014 Someone reported a deer had been shot in Kremmling. An investigation revealed there was no actual violation associated with the incident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, Nov. 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10:13 a.m. \u2014 Authorities responded to a motorist assist after a caller reported a Jeep Cherokee that was hanging off a cliff by Kremmling but had been tied up so it wouldn\u2019t go over.<\/p>\n<p>4:38 p.m. \u2014 A small wildfire flared up on the National Forest land outside Granby.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, Nov. 11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10:37 p.m. \u2014 A caller in Grand Lake told authorities a woman broke into her house earlier in the day by cutting the screen on the screen door. The caller said the woman took her cat and was now sending her photos of the cat.<\/p>\n<p><em>These are a small number of the calls fielded by Grand County\u2019s dispatchers, first-responders and law enforcement agencies.
