West Grand opened the Class 2A state volleyball tournament in dramatic fashion Thursday by rallying to win in five sets vs. Del Norte.<\/p>\n

After losing the first two sets, West Grand won the next three and downed No. 10 seeded Del Norte 19-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-10 in the state tournament\u2019s opening round.<\/p>\n

With the victory, West Grand moved on to play No. 2 seeded Limon. Against Limon, the Mustangs won the first set before falling 21-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.<\/p>\n

West Grand is set to face No. 9 seeded Delores at 11 a.m. today in the double-elimination tournament. The winner of the match will advance to play again at 6:30 p.m. tonight.<\/p>\n

Once team\u2019s reach Saturday\u2019s semifinals, the tournament becomes single elimination.<\/p>\n
