Also, a trailer and secondary building were damaged.<\/p>\n<p>The property owner, Rick Kramer, has been working to get the cabin ready for a number of years, he said. He was working outside on Friday when he looked up and saw heavy smoke pouring out of his cabin.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-facebook wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-facebook\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI was working on it to live in later,\u201d Kramer said.<\/p>\n<p>He guessed a wood stove inside the cabin started the fire. Kramer said he had fire guards around the stove, but he thinks a log or something like it might have rolled up against the guards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the only thing I can think of,\u201d Kramer said, as firefighters continued suppressing the flames.<\/p>\n<p>Both fire departments responded to the call. Traffic on US Highway 40 was diverted around the blaze while they worked to get the fire under control.
