A contractor in Granby shared the holiday spirit by donating carloads of toys to Mountain Family Center on Thursday.<\/p>\n

ESCO Construction Company also presented a check to the center as part of the holiday goodwill. Employees of the company and trustees at Mountain Family Center unloaded two carloads of donations Thursday afternoon, packing the charity\u2019s toy donation room.<\/p>\n

Helen Sedlar, executive director of Mountain Family Center, was excited for the donations and hoped to get the word out for families still in need of Christmas presents.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve done the toy room for the last five years,\u201d Sedlar said. \u201cOurs have been stocking stuffers and smaller toys, so to get this level and volume of toys is really going to serve more families.\u201d<\/p>\n

The idea to donate came together quickly for the contractors, according to ESCO\u2019s superintendent Shahn Morganflash.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were just talking about it and \u2026 asked them what they needed,\u201d Morganflash said. \u201cWe just put it together on the job sight.\u201d<\/p>\n

The toy room, with these new donations, is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Monday for families who need help with holiday gifts. For more information, contact the Mountain Family Center at 970-557-3186.<\/p>\n
