The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of Grand County until 5 p.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p>While total snow accumulation are expected to range from 3-6 inches, snowfall will be heavy and fast through at least mid afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Forecasters predict snow showers and blowing snow to linger into the evening with strong gusty winds increasing in the afternoon to gusts of 50-60 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers should plan on hazardous travel conditions as the holiday weekend begins with widespread blowing snow reducing visibility.
