The man who reported the incident was walking in the area and thought the gunshots were coming near him. Deputies spoke with the man and found nothing out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Jan. 11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1:10 a.m. \u2014 A caller told dispatchers someone he didn\u2019t know was inside his home near Grand Lake. However, it turned out the caller was highly intoxicated and had gotten spooked when a picture fell from the wall.<\/p>\n<p>3:47 p.m. \u2014 Authorities handled a wreck with injuries on US Highway 40 at mile marker 237 near Berthoud Pass.<\/p>\n<p>7:43 p.m. \u2014 A call about shots fired in Granby turned out to be fireworks.<\/p>\n<p>10:09 p.m. \u2014 A caller reported a noise complaint in Kremmling regarding loud music.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, Jan. 12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1:42 a.m. \u2014 Someone reported a theft of firewood about 10 miles up US Highway 34 toward Grand Lake.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Jan. 14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2:36 a.m. \u2014 The jail called an ambulance for one of its inmates. The inmate was taken to the clinic early in the morning and then back to the jail after receiving treatment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Jan. 15<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1:10 p.m. \u2014 A welfare check in the Kremmling area turned out to be nothing, as authorities were able to confirm the woman was doing alright.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, Jan. 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 p.m. \u2014 Multiple agencies responded to a fast food restaurant in Fraser for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/news\/man-charged-with-assaulting-officers-after-parking-lot-altercations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"an intoxicated man who was reportedly trying to fight people (opens in a new tab)\">an intoxicated man who was reportedly trying to fight people<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Jan. 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6 a.m. \u2014 The jail called another ambulance for an inmate. The inmate was taken to local hospital and then back to the jail after receiving treatment.<\/p>\n<p>9:17 a.m. \u2014 In Parshall, someone reported a possible cold case fraud in which a man pretended to be a census worker. The call is listed as a suspicious incident. Because of how long ago the incident was, authorities were unable to confirm exactly what happened. However, they noted that the reporting party has not had any identity theft issues since the incident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Jan. 18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>12:36 a.m. \u2014 The sheriff\u2019s office issued the first of two noise complaint warnings on the same day. The first was at a Fraser home, and the second came at 5:18 a.m. in Winter Park.<\/p>\n<p>5:35 p.m. \u2014 Authorities prepared for a search and rescue mission by Rabbit Ears Pass. As it turned out, the missing person made it back to parking lot before search crews got on scene.<\/p>\n<p><em>These are a small number of the calls fielded by Grand County\u2019s dispatchers, first-responders and law enforcement agencies.
